Paul Anthony Summers

Paul Anthony Summers, age 67, a resident of Columbus, Ohio died on Jan. 28, 2018 from a several year battle with cancer.  Paul was born in Buffalo, NY on Aug. 8, 1950 to Richard and Jennie (Scoma) Summers.  He is survived by his sisters Sharon Vathy of Flower Mound, Tx. and Mary Sumers-Wende of Lancaster, NY, and his niece Laurie Flandrau of Flower Mound, TX. 

Paul was a graduate of Hutchinson Central Technical High School, Erie Community College, Ohio Institute of Technology and Franklin University.  Paul also held many certifications in the IT field.  Paul was employed by the State of Ohio as a Technical Communications Specialist until his retirement in 2014. 

Paul enjoyed working on cars with his friends and fixing things around his house.  Paul learned how to fix anything from his father and was always known as the “fix it man” to friends and neighbors.

A Funeral Mass will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 20 E. Dominion Blvd.  Burial will be with his parents at St. Augustine Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.
