He enjoyed darts, a spirited card game and board games, especially Monopoly, as well as challenging his family to best-time jigsaw puzzle competitions. Every year Mike planted seeds of his two favorite trees – redbud and black walnut – and he always had a crazy-looking but prolific garden. Mike was also a proud blood donor.
