Michael Thomas Lombardo, age 56, born on June 6, 1961, passed away October 25, 2017 after a courageous battle with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy).  Michael attended St. Charles Preparatory School and graduated from Bishop Hartley High School in 1979 where he excelled in baseball, football and wrestling. Michael worked at North American Rockwell and Columbus City Schools in Computer Operations. Mike loved all animals, especially his rescue dog Pepper, who he trained and cared for like family. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed attending and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, and his beloved Dallas Cowboys.  Michael often displayed his generous and kind spirit with others, especially with the gentle care he gave his mother before she passed. He will be missed by family and many friends.  Preceded in death by his mother, Patricia J. (Cox) Lombardo, Paternal grandparents, Florence (Sturgeon) and Don Lombardo; Maternal grandparents, Ruth (Ryan) and Kenneth Cox. Survived by his loving and devoted father, Thomas G. Lombardo; siblings, Diana (Jeff) Miller, Thomas (Barb) Lombardo, and Lisa (Gilbert) Dannemiller; and many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call Sunday, October 29,  from 2-5 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215. Funeral Service will be Monday, October 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, 11539 National Rd. S.W., Pataskala, OH 43062.
