Mary Barbara (Guth) Jaquay

Mary Barbara (Guth) Jaquay, (91) born January 11, 1927 to Joseph L. Sr. and Loretta Meinert Guth died on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in her home at Sunrise of Dublin.  Preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Frederick Carroll Jaquay Sr., parents, brothers – Joseph (Ginny) Jr., George (Doris) of Peoria IL., Henry (Ann), Paul, and Tommy Guth.   Survived by sister, Loretta McGovern, children – Barbara (Duey) Schwinne-Garcia, Frederick (Fritz) (Ann) Jr., Peggy (Larry) Hoffman, Janet (Charles) Prior, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Mary was a proud graduate of Rosary High School, Class of ’45.   The family will welcome friends and other family members at Egan Ryan Northwest Chapel on Friday October 5, 2018 from 2 PM to 4 PM (Rosary at 3:45 PM) and from 6 to 8 PM (Sharing, music and closing prayer service to begin at 7:30). Mary began her Catholic life at St. Leo’s through Baptism, then 1st Communion, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Marriage and concludes with her Mass of Christian burial on Saturday October 6th at 10:30 AM in St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 221 Hanford St., Columbus 43206 (German Village).  Interment will be held immediately following the mass at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center OH 43035.  All are invited to join the family for a meal at St. Andrews Church - Parish Hall, 1899 McCoy Rd., Columbus OH 43221.
