Margaret Ann Long

Margaret Ann Long, age 93, Tuesday March 6, 2018.  Lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Parish. Graduate of St. Mary of the Springs Academy and St. Mary of the Springs College with her Bachelors in Chemistry.  Margaret Ann received her Masters in Chemistry from The Ohio State University.  Retired from Battelle Memorial Institute where she was the first female engineer manager.  Member of the Third Order of St. Dominic.  Active member in many Catholic organizations over her lifetime and recipient of many awards and honors.  Preceded in death by her parents Harry and Margaret McGrady Long and brother Lawrence H. Long.  Survived by many cousins and friends. Friends may call Sunday 3-6 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST.  Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 East North Broadway. Fr. Hoover and Msgr. Missimi Concelebrants.  Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.  Friends who wish may contribute in Margaret Ann’s memory to Immaculate Conception Church.
