Margaret was born on January 17, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Holy Rosary High School and then graduated from Purdue University in 1950, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and Mortar Board. Margaret was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. After marrying Tom in 1951 and detouring first to Chicago and then Milwaukee, she and Tom moved their family to Upper Arlington in 1959, where she lived for the rest of her life. She was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church from the time she moved back to Columbus and took particular satisfaction in later years from her work on the Bereavement Committee and other charitable activities. Margaret was also very interested in retailing, working at Marshall Fields, F&R Lazarus, The Fashion, and, later in her career, The Cook Store. Well read, and keenly interested in local, national, and world events, she had a sharp intellect that all who knew her respected and admired. She loved both to play bridge and her bridge club friends. She will be missed deeply. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 13, 2018, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 E.
