Lola M. (Kelbley) Harrington

Lola M. Harrington, age 98, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Brookdale Clarebridge Assisted Living Facility. Lola was born February 15, 1920 to the late Clarence +and Esther (Kelbley) in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Columbus, Ohio in 1938. Lola was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, and the love of her life, Bill. In addition to her husband, Lola was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Betty and Donna. Lola is survived by her sons, Bob (Lynne) and Tom; grandchildren Beth (Rick) Wickham and Joe; great-grandchildren Colleen (Randy) Smith, Emily and Aaron Wickham, Leigh Ann (Jake) Swain, Christine (Dan) Jenkins; great-great-grandchildren Ryleigh Sawyer and Jude and several nieces and nephews. Lola’s life revolved around her husband and children. She loved each of us unconditionally, and was a wonderful example for all of us.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 21st at 11:00 am, with visitation 1 hour before the Mass, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 20 East Dominion Blvd., Columbus, OH 43214 with Msgr. John Johnson, Celebrant. Committal service will be held in the chapel of Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N. High St., Route 23 N., Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. A luncheon will be served in the parish hall following the committal service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
