Kenneth Durland Merrill, age 69, passed away October 17, 2017 after an 18th month battle with cancer.  He was born on February 9, 1948 in Starrucca, PA on his grandparents farm.  He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  Co-owner of Wilson’s Flowers.  Long time member of St. Patrick Church.  He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford E. Haynes, Jr.; stepfathers, Don Merrill and Mark Joseph Stella; brothers, Kevin Merrill and Robert Haynes.  He is survived by his life partner of 48 years, Fred Mayer; mother, Leona J. Hallstead Kader; brother, Steven Haynes; sister, Cheryl Marsh; stepbrother, Loren Merrill, Sr.; stepsister, Edie Russell; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 280 North Grant Ave.  Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
