Jeannine S. Davis, 89 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on February 2 at the Claremont Retirement Center. She was born on Oct. 11, 1928 to the late Fred and Martha Koch. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband William Davis, her brother Walter Koch, sister Mary Ann Koch and 2 grandsons, Matt and Andrew Fourman.
Jeannine’s life was her service to her family and faith. She was a founding member of St. Timothy Church where she participated in the Women’s Club and was a Eucharistic Minister. After her retirement from the admission office at Riverside Methodist Hospital, she sang in the Alleluia choir, took communion to the sick and cared for her younger sister. She attended daily Mass and had a special devotion to the rosary. Jeannine also enjoyed playing Euchre with friends and being with her family. She was always there for anyone in need and a “good” day was when she could be of service or be with her children and grandchildren. She especially loved all those babies!
She is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie Fourman (Gary Horst) and six sons, Tom Davis (Bev Cooper), John Davis (Bobbi Davis), Joe Davis (Carole Davis) Larry Davis (Molly Davis), Rick Davis (Shelly Davis), Ron Davis, and honorary son, Joe D’Amico (Beth D’Amico).
