Helen E. Rizor, age 96, passed away peacefully Thursday June 1, 2017 in Columbus, OH. Born in Kent, OH daughter of the late Sam and Blanche (Palmer) Justice. During WWII she served with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), a wartime intelligence agency and predecessor of the CIA. Later she received her Ph.D. in Education from Kent State University. After which she taught disabled children for over twenty years. Also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Rizor; sister Martha Lumeyer and brother, Harold Justice. Survived by her children, Diane and Dennis Rizor; grandchild, Jerry R. Rizor; sisters, Ruth Boltz and Mary Meade, sister-in-law, Helen Justice; numerous nieces and nephews. Noon service Monday in the chapel at Northlawn Cemetery Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
