Helen Ey O'Connor, age 94, Tuesday August 29, 2017. Graduate of Mt. Carmel Nursing School in 1947 and was a registered nurse at Mt. Carmel and Riverside Hospitals.  Long time member of St. Michael Church.  Preceded in death by husband Thomas O’Connor, brother Richard (Lillian) Ey, and brother–in-law Richard (Wanda) O’Connor.   Survived by children Pat, Mike (Sue), Tim, Sue, Theresa (Mike) Putnam and Molly (John) Englehardt; daughter-in-law Barbara O'Connor; grandchildren Kara (Tom) Prem, Matt O’Connor,   K T (Bill) Carroll, Mindy and Patrick O’Connor, Ashley and Rachel Putnam, and Jack and Annie Englehardt; 4 great grand children; sister Irene (Pat) Navin; nieces, nephews,cousins and many friends.  Friends may call Thursday 4-7 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 KENNY RD. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 5750 N. High St.  Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.  Friends who wish may contribute in Helen’s memory to the charity of their choice.
