Gloria Theresa Fares

Gloria Theresa Fares (LaHoud), of Columbus, OH, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2018, surrounded by her children.  An extraordinary woman, she lavished her family and friends with love.  Theresa graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and Bliss College.  She was a founding member of the Columbus Fundraising Chapter for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the Columbus American Lebanese Club.  Theresa was a successful real estate agent for over 25 years where she enjoyed finding homes for her clients whom she adopted as family.  She is preceded in death by beloved husband of 38 years George Michael Fares, parents Nicholas and Edna (Joseph) LaHoud, special brothers in law Frederick Simon and Donald Simon.  She is survived by children: Michelle (Nick) DeSantis, George Fares (Jennifer), Diane (Tom) Maxwell, Carolyn (David) Wade, Nikki (Scott) Norman and David Fares (Leandro); grandchildren: Marie (Rob), Nick, Kristen, Katie (Jared), David (Chelsea), Monica, Carrie (Danny), Megan, A.J., & Andi; and great grandchildren: J.J., Luca, Ryan, Alaric, & Hope; treasured sisters Peggy Simon and Yvonne (Charlie) Perotti; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.  Visitation Wednesday 1-3 & 7-9 pm at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd; Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 am at Saint Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane.
