George Maskas Obituary

George P Maskas passed away on Saturday, April 6 2018 at his residence in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 94.

He is survived by his son, John T Maskas; daughter, Pauline M Myers; son-in-law, Dr John C Myers; and sister, Pauline Hadjis. His beloved wife Aspasia, of 61 years, recently and peacefully passed at the same residence this past January.

George was born in Warren, Ohio on December 18, 1923. He moved to Yorkville, Ohio where he graduated from high school and then joined the US Navy and served in both WWII and Korean War as a Commander of his own ship.

He went on to graduate from The Ohio State University, and later received a law degree from American University in Washington, DC, where he also met his lovely bride Aspasia.

George spent the next 44 years working as an Attorney for a Fortune 200 Company and resided in New York City and Upper Arlington, Ohio.

We are all so very proud of his accomplishments. He was a loving father and we will miss him dearly.
