Frances Lee Colasurd, age 86, passed away November 24, 2017 after a brief illness.  She was born on April 5, 1931 in Hillsboro, Ohio to the late Donald and Alma McCoppin.  Fran graduated from Ohio University where she was the President of Sigma Kappa, Homecoming Queen and Phi Kappa Tau Dream Girl.  She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education.   Immediately after graduation, Fran married her college sweetheart, Don Colasurd on June 13, 1953 in Hillsboro, Ohio.  Fran spent over 30 years at Our Lady of Peace School as the reading teacher until she retired in 1994.  After retiring, Fran and Don divided their time between Naples, Fl and Columbus.  Fran was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.  Fran is preceded in death by her son Christopher.   Fran is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Donald; two sons, Michael (Deborah) and Donald Jr.; her favorite granddaughter, Jennifer (Matt) Griffith; grandsons, Jonathan (Kate), Jeffrey and Dino; great-grandchildren, Haley and Luke Griffith and Liam and Levi Colasurd; sister, Patricia Donnelly and brother, Donald McCoppin; many nieces, nephews and friends.  Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 4661 Kenny Road where a Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Church, 1088 Thomas Lane.  A private burial will take place at a later date.
