Dorothy (Clarke) Hinton

Dorothy “Dottie” Jean Hinton of Columbus passed away May 25, 2018. She was born February 15, 1936 in Lancaster, OH to the late Thomas and Lillian Clarke. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, William Hinton and her brother Thomas Clarke, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Cruea; daughters, Colleen Fitzpatrick and Pamela Firtzpatrick Plunkett; son-in-law, James Plunkett; step-daughters, Laura Cruea (Ronald) Seger and Penny Beaty; Goddaughters, Mika & Naomi Adams and her beloved cat, Teddy. Dottie was employed for 22 years by Dr. James C. Beesley, MD in Lancaster. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home 403 E. Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 3730 Broadway Grove City, OH. Burial St. Mary Cemetery Lancaster, OH. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute to Ohio Health Hospice in her memory.
