Doris J. Heck, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, with her husband and loving family by her side. She was born December 23, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio and attended South High School. Doris was known and loved by many. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Frank and June Weatherington. She is survived by her husband, Jim Heck; children Cindy (Heck) Coakley, Randy (Kathy) Heck, Kelly (Judy) Heck, and Amy (Heck) Stafford; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many friends and family.  Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street.  A Funeral Service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 South High Street that is on the grounds of St. Joseph cemetery where the burial will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd SE, Newark, OH 43055.
