Constance Loretta (Turk) Fergus

Constance Loretta (Turk) Fergus died peacefully at her home on August 9, 2019 at the age of 85.
Connie was born on October 28, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Albina (Turek) Turk.  She attended St. Jerome School and Villa Angela Academy before graduating from Norte Dame College of Cleveland.

Connie started her career teaching the second grade at St. Jerome's School and went on to  become an Executive Secretary at the Standard Tool Company and the Harris Intertype Companies in Cleveland.  When she and her husband Kevin moved to Columbus, she continued to work as an Executive Secretary first at Industrial Nucleonics for 20 years and then for the Great Western Life Insurance Company.

Connie became an active member of the St. Andrew Parish singing in the Church choir and volunteering in many of the Church organizations.  She was also an avid bridge player and took great pride in her prized English Bulldogs.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents and her niece Claudia Pitman Stone.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years Kevin B. Fergus; her sisters Beverley F. Argento, Elaine M. Pryatel and Joyce M. Pitman.  As well as 12 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday August 23, 2019 at   12:00 PM at St. Andrew Parish located at 1899 McCoy Road Columbus, OH.  The family will receive friends at the Church prior to the Funeral Mass from  10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make contributions may do so to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the ASPCA or to the St. Andrew Parish Choir Fund.
