Clementina Chini Torma (103), born December 26, 1915 in Segno, Italy and entered into Eternal Life on January 17, 2019 at St Therese Assisted Living, Columbus Ohio.  Clementina came to the United States at the age of 5 and grew up in Flushing, Ohio.  During World War II, she moved to Mansfield with her sister Rita and worked at the Westinghouse factory as a “Rosie the riveter”. She later married Eugene Torma, and they made their home in Cleveland, Ohio.  After his death, she moved to Columbus to be near family.  She and her sisters were inseparable and had many memorable years together.  She enjoyed travel, tag sales, picking apples and especially family. In her final years, she was a beloved resident at St. Therese’s and had made many friends over the 13 years she was there.  This past year she was one of the subjects of the book “1000 Years of Memories” and was interviewed by Channel 10 for Centenarian Day on September 22nd.  She was a much-loved aunt and is survived by 12 nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and nephews, close friend Antionette Grilli, and many other friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Torma; parents, Richard and Julia Chini; sisters, Mary Alexander, Rita Salmen, and Sophia Novey; brother Pio Chini; and niece Rosemary Helon.   Family will receive friends at the Chapel of Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 East Broad Street on January 22nd from 9:30 to 11:00 am.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am.  The family is very thankful for the loving care provided by the staff at St Therese. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Villas at St Therese, or the Carmelite Sisters.  Condolences may be sent via www.egan-ryan.com.
