Christopher Fraher

Christopher “Coach” Fraher died on December 4, 2019 at 69 years of age. Chris was a passionate sports fan and an excellent athlete himself, playing baseball in college and continuing to play baseball and basketball in recreational capacities as an adult. Chris’s love of teaching led to a long career with the Columbus Public Schools where he reveled in helping his students and combined his love of sports and teaching as a physical education teacher. Chris was a longtime member of St. Agatha parish in Upper Arlington. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Janet King Fraher and James Nathan Fraher, and many friends. He is survived by friends and the family of his best friend from childhood, Ric Vohlers, Ric also predeceased Chris. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street.
