Anne (Sherwood) Hoyt

Anne Hoyt, age 98, October 24, 2018. Born in Columbus October 20, 1920 daughter of the late William and Kathryn (Burns) Sherwood. Also preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Hoyt and her brother, William Sherwood. Survived by her children, Sue Anne (John) Pieroni and Craig (Lori Criner) Hoyt; grandchildren, Christopher (Nicole) Pieroni, Shelby Hoyt, Amanda (Eduardo Arteaga) Hoyt, Samantha Hoyt; step-grandson, Clinton (Katie) Cortijo; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Nicholas Pieroni, Lucas and Camilla Arteaga, Talia and Avery Cortijo; sister-in-law, Rosemary Hoyt; multiple nieces and nephew. Longtime resident of Columbus and Naples, FL. She was a fifty year member of St. Brendan the Navigator Parish. Also a member of Brookside Golf and Country Club, Imperial Country Club and the Presidents Club at The Ohio State University. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 4661 Kenny Rd. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Brendan Church 4475 Dublin Rd. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in her memory to St. Brendan Church or Columbus Foundation.
