Marjorie Ann (Sheridan) Stokes, age 91, passed away August 7, 2012. Born in Columbus, Ohio, July 4, 1921. Member of Sacred Heart and St. Augustine parishes and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Women's Club. Preceded in death by parents William and Laura Sheridan; Raymond H. Stokes, Sr., husband of 52 years; infant granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Stokes; sisters Mary Ingram and Dorothy Cotton; brother Bill Sheridan. Survived by children Michael (Helga), Timothy (Mej), Ray, Jr. (Alicia), and William (Michele); grandchildren Corinna (Paul) Readly Stokes, Laura, David, Caitlin, Greta, Megan and Sophie; great grandchildren Paul and Elsa Readly; Fr. Charles Cotton, nephew, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the chapel at 10 a.m., Fr. Charles Cotton, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
