Pauline Tharp, born February 2, 1915 passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2012. Retired from The Ohio Union of The Ohio State University. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Ruth (McCullough) Phalen; Brothers Lawrence, Bernard, Paul, John, and Charlie; sisters Anne (Roger) Adam and Frances (Barney)Micheau,, daughter Colleen, and her husband of 69 years, Oscar Kermit Tharp. She is survived by grandchildren, Scott Dempster and Eileen Howard; and six great grandchildren.; all in California, brother-in-law Dave Adam , many nieces; and nephews and their children and many friends.. Special thanks to Mt. Caramel Hospice and Nancy Allison and crew for their love and care in the last few months.
