Virginia is a testament that a life well-lived can have endless ripples in this world that affect the course of so many lives in so many ways. I guess looking back I spent relatively little time with Virginia when I sum up all the time we were together in our lives, but she made an indelible impact on the course of my life with the family that she raised and her shining impression of a strong, happy, beautiful, loving, caring woman with an unmistakable current of passion for life. Every memory I have of her is of her brilliant smile that lit up the room, and her dancing joyful eyes. I owe her a debt of gratitude for all that she was and for the inspiration she gave me in her ongoing fight against cancer, and for the extra time she gave all of us by being such a dogged fighter. I pray that now after such a long and great fight she may rest in peace. With great sympathy for your loss, Kate Bovitz.

Jim, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Virginia was a beautiful woman in every way imaginable. While working with Virginia at McCord I was amazed by her strength and courage. She loved you all so much and felt blessed to have you in her life. Her battle is won and I'm sure she is resting in the arms of our Creator.
