Stanley C “Bud” Kuhn, born February 4, 1926 peacefully passed into the loving arms of our Lord on December 25, 2017. Bud loved playing golf especially with sons Bob, Jim, Jack, and grandson Michael. Bud also loved working in the yard and his garden as well as playing euchre with his wife Helen and sons, Bob, and Rick. Bud and Helen married on October 30, 1948 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Bud was born to Stanley and Elizabeth (Strickler) both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Helen, sister Barbara Jean (Kuhn) Weaver.  Survived by his Daughter - Patricia (Stephen) DeLong, Berrien Springs, MI. Sons -  Robert of the residence, Richard (Sharon, deceased) Pickerington, James (Becky) Lancaster and Jack (Marie) Pickerington. Grandchildren-Christopher DeLong, Leslie Morrison (Todd), Matthew Kuhn (Jessie), Brandon Kuhn (fiancée Lorinda), Michael Kuhn (Amanda), Jackie Ulrich (Joe). Great-grandchildren-Devon and Allison Morrison (Leslie), Annabelle and Jude Kuhn (Matthew), Hailey and Cole Kuhn (Michael). Bud also has 2 step-granddaughters daughters, Rachel (Rodney) Carpenter, Michele (Rich) Rezentes, 9 step great-grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister Betty Clifford as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bud worked for and became the owner of the Bexley Plumbing Company from which he retired from in 1988. Bud was a member of the Columbus Maennerchor Men’s chorus group from 1961-2009. He was awarded an Honorary Diploma of Singer Emeritus in March of 2009 as well as a life time membership to the Maennerchor for his service and dedication to the Maennerchor. Bud was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Christ the King Catholic Church from 1994 to 2000. Bud was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. James Klima. The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to Robert (Bob) for taking care of both mom and dad over the past several years. Without his help mom and dad would not have been able to live out their dream of being able to remain in their home during their last years of life. Thank you.  Friends may call at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. Broad St., Columbus between the hours of 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday December 28, 2017 during this time the Columbus Maennerchor will have a service.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery 11539 National Road S.W. U.S. Route 40 East Pataskala, OH.   In lieu of flowers the family, requests memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
