Ruth Marie (Balthaser) Croswell, age 89 of Columbus, peacefully passed on August 18, 2016. She was a devout catholic, graduate of Holy Family High School, avid reader, card player, TV critic, dog lover and Ohio State Buckeye fan. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, John Henry Croswell.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother who adored spending time with her nine children, eight outlaws, 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.    She will be woefully missed by her children: Mike (Mary) Croswell, Rosemary (Jim) Croyle, Jodi (Bill) Swisher, Patrick (Debbie) Croswell, Cathy (Andy) Wilson, John (Karla) Croswell, Julie (John) Casuccio, Jim (Corrinne) Croswell and Beth Croswell Armstrong.  As well as her siblings Fred Balthaser and Carol Killilea and many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call Sunday, August 21 from 2-6 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 E. Broad St, Columbus OH 43215.  Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 22 at 10:00am at Holy Family Church, 584 W. Broad Street.  Father Stash Dailey, Celebrant.  Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
