Ruth Martha Conone, Ph.D., age 75, passed away Friday, March 10th at Riverside Hospital. Born July 12, 1941 in Watertown, Wisconsin to the late Sam and Emma Kunz. Received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1979 in Adult and Childhood Education. Taught at high schools in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Fort Greely, Alaska. Taught at the college level in Wisconsin, Kansas State and Montana State University. Retired from Ohio State University as Assistant Director/State Program Leader in Home Economics, Ohio Cooperative Extension Service. Attended professional meetings in Germany, China, Thailand, Kenya and numerous meetings stateside. Survived by her husband of 52 years, Ralph Conone; son Randolph (Mercedes); brother, David Kunz of Arizona; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kunz; 4 nieces and a nephew all of whom live in Wisconsin. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Monday at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL 4661 Kenny Rd. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Timothy Church 1088 Thomas Lane. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Riverside Neurological Hospital and Arlington Court Nursing Home for their care.
