Rhodena Masys, age 66, Monday April 25, 2016 from Parkinsons disease and it’s complications.  Graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.S. Degree in Home Economics (1972) and a Masters Degree in 1981.  Teacher with New Albany Schools 1972-1975 and Bexley City Schools from 1975-2008. Chairman of the Scholarship Committee of the Ohio Home Economics Association in 1983.  Bexley Young Educator of the Year 1989-90.  Member of Phi Uplison Omicron Gamma (National Honor Society in Family Consumer Sciences) and the Bexley Women’s Club.   Survived by husband of 46 years Robert Masys; sons Michael and Jonathon; mother Liddie Forman; siblings Anna Miller, Denver Forman, Claudette Asgharzadeh, Mike Forman, Linda Forman, Kim Spencer, Randy Forman and April Forman;  brothers-in-law John and Dan Masys; sister-in-law Paula Labita; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to her dear friends Debbie Dubey, Nancy Zastudil, Sara Pfaff and Sandy Rainey.  Friends may call Friday 4-7p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. at St. Catharine Church, 500 S. Gould Rd.  Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.   Friends who wish may contribute in her memory to St. Catharine Church.
