Nancy Ellen (Keenan) Ligon

Nancy Ellen Ligon (Keenan), also known to her grandchildren as “Gaga”, age 70; died, March 18, 2018 at Riverside Hospital. Nancy was born on October 13, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY but later moved to Columbus, Ohio with her family and was a graduate of Sacred Heart School.  Nancy briefly lived in Louisville, Kentucky but later returned to Columbus, Ohio where she worked and retired from Bank One (now Chase Bank). Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Genevieve Keenan; survived by her children, Maria Teresa Jacobs (Shane) and John Patrick Saxon,”Esq.”; grandchildren, Keana Russell, Anna Saxon,  Fabiola Diaz, Alexander, Gabriel and Joshua Jacobs. Also by her side, siblings, Mike Keenan (Rita), Patricia Wiseman and Mary Weidl (Dave), countless nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved white Westie dog Coco -who was by her side for the last 11 years. Nancy was cherished by all of her family and will be sadly missed. Friends may call Friday, March 23, 2018 from 5-8pm at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home 403 East Broad St.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday March 24, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church 893 Hamlet St, Columbus with the burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
