Mary Jo “Joey” O’Rourke, age 79, Monday, November 28, 2016.  Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Snyder. Also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Louis J. “Jerry” O’Rourke and stillborn baby son, Daniel D. O’Rourke; Graduate of Rosary High School (1955). Graduate of Felt and Tarrant Comptometer School. Member of St. Mary Magdalene Church where she was a proud member of the choir for over 34 years.  Member of the Columbus Diocesan Choir and the Shamrock Club Glee Club.  Survived by children, Kevin M. (Beth), Sr., Patrick J. (Amy), Erin K. (Mark), Kelly L., Colleen M. and Sean T. (Cheryl) O’Rourke; grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., Colin, Aidan, Jack, Anna, Kaelyn and Delaney O’Rourke; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Prayer Service 7:30 p.m., at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E. Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Thursday St. Mary Magdalene Church 473 S. Roys Ave. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in her memory to the Alzheimers Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
