Mary Ann Heise, age 91, passed away April 26, 2016 at Mount Carmel East Hospital.  She is the only graduate to have attended St. Mary of the Springs Academy from kindergarten through college.  She taught at numerous institutions for 30 years.  Lifelong member of Christ the King Church.  Past President of the College Alumni at St. Mary of the Springs.  Member of the Dominican Associates.  Preceded in death by her husband Page K. Heise, Jr.  She is survived by her children, Mary Elizabeth (Eddie) Davis, Mary Margaret (Ed) Kempner, John Charles (Paula), Mary Ellen (William) Bettac, Thomas Richard, James Edward, Mary Kay Walters, Robert Michael, Mary Jean Kerns (Tom Schwarzbach); 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces, nephews and friends.  The family would also like to thank, Pegge Condren, Elizabeth (Barry) Miller, Gina Taylor, Sequioa Henry for their devoted care and friendship.  Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street where a Rosary will begin at 1:30 p.m..  Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 2777 East Livingston Avenue.  Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Donations may be made in her name to Christ the King Church.
