Mary Ann (Welch) Elder, age 78, passed away Saturday January 20, 2018. Born August 22, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Kelly) Welch. Also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Gerry” Elder; and son, Michael Marsh; sisters and brother, Harold “Brother” Welch, Laverne McFarland and Irene Carpenter.  Survived by step-children Glenn and  Gayle (Jeff) Dittmer; grandchildren Amanda, Todd, Eric and Maria; sisters and brother, Patricia Allen, Helen Carpenter, Tom (Lois) Welch, Kathleen (Paul) Sarina, and numerous other relatives and friends.  Friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m.   Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home Reach Hospice.
