Mary Margret Crowley, age 75 passed away August 3, 2017. Mary will be deeply missed. She had an incredible talent for storytelling. Mary could make a trip to the grocery store sound like a fantastic adventure. With a cup of tea and her gracious heart, Mary naturally made everyone part of her Irish clan. Mary was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Thomas and Rosemary Enright. She is a graduate of Barar College of the Sacred Heart. (1964). Mary served a volunteer teacher in Alamosa, Colorado for the Catholic Extension Society. She taught grades K-12 for 32 years and retired from the Columbus City School system. Mary’s passion was teaching special education. Later in life, Mary found a new passion, which was volunteering her time on political campaigns, and as a member in the Danbury Senior Living Center dementia support group. Mary lost her husband, Chuck of 44 years in March of this year. She is survived by her children; Michael Crowley (Kimberly Braker), Kathleen Crowley-Mosure (Thomas), Ann Sarringhausen (Robert), Ellen Crowley, Kevin Crowley (Sarah Bork); grandchildren; James, Rebecca, Stephen, John, Emma, and Isabelle. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 8, 3-7 P.M. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10:00 A.M. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Rd. Powell, Ohio. 43065. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
