Also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Thomas J Benson Sr, daughter-in-law Kathleen St. John Benson and 8 sisters and brothers. Survived by children Thomas J Benson Jr, Michael J Benson (Margo), Kathleen “Beany” Balmert (Michael), Rebecca J Cavanaugh (Edward); grandchildren, Aimee (Jeffery Rosenthal) Benson,  Thomas (Amy) Benson, Tyler (Kevin Hutchinson) Benson,  Christopher (Nicole) Benson, Traci Lynn Benson, Kimberly (Keith) Glover, Renee (George Boudames) Balmert, James (Sara) Balmert, Karen Balmert, Anthony Balmert, Mary (Richard) Baylis, Daniel (Corinne) Balmert, Joseph Balmert, Ellen Cavanaugh, Molly (Brett) Davis, Edward Cavanaugh Jr.;  great-grandchildren, Simone and Adele Rosenthal, Conner and Abby Benson, Alyx, Bailey and Piper Benson, Keagan, Kellan, Kenzie and Kelton Glover, Avery and Liam Balmert, Richard Michael, Charlotte and Thomas Baylis, Brett Jr, Bryce Davis; dear friend and devoted companion Joseph Achtner and his daughters Therese and Essie; numerous relatives and friends.
