Loretta Jane McCarty, age 94, Thursday April 6, 2017 at her residence. 

Graduate of Mt. Carmel School of Nursing (1945).  Pediatric nurse for 50 years with Dr. Willard Fernald  and Pediatric Associates. Long time member of Christ the King Church. She loved a good book and her coffee hot. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Robert; brothers Emmett (Ann) and Robert Lang; brother-in-law Harold Breitfeller.  Survived by sisters Sr. Colette Marie, CSC and Helen Breitfeller; sister-in-law Rita (Mike) Draudt; nieces and nephews James (Janet) Breitfeller, Carl ( Wendy Jones) Breitfeller, Robert (Tina) Breitfeller, Colette (Stephen) Newton and Paula (Kurt) Meyers; great nieces and nephews; close friends Alice Johnson, Ea (Pat) Mann and Carolyn McBride.  Friends may call Tuesday 4-7 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St.  Entombment to follow.
