Julia Anne Cantwell of Columbus, Ohio died peacefully surrounded by family, on May 11, 2017 after a brief illness. A beloved daughter, sister and aunt, she was born on October 16, 1963 and was a graduate of the Bishop Watterson High School Class of 1981. For more than 18 years Julie was a dedicated, hardworking and irreplaceable member of the administrative staff at H & S Forest Products. She took her work seriously, striving to never give less than 100% no matter the circumstance. Julie had a life-long love of animals, in particular horses and cats. A kind and generous soul with a heart of gold, she rescued many strays, several of which found a forever and loving home with her. Julie is survived by her parents, Thomas and Mary Cantwell; siblings, Jennie (Greg) Mackanos, Jodie Cantwell, James (Sarah) Cantwell, Joseph Cantwell; nieces and nephews, Evan, Olivia, Jackson, Eva, and Elanor, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be deeply missed by countless friends and family members. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Rosary 4:30 p.m., at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME 403 E. Broad St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church 280 N. Grant Ave. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
