Watson,

My deepest sympathy in the physical loss of your mother. As with any blessed person, her spirit and love will remain in your life to give you guidance during this time, and going forward into the future. My prayers are with you and your family.

Juanita and I were friends for many years as fellow members of the St. Joseph Cathedral St. Vincent de Paul Society, and she occasionally invited me to dinner at her home. She had a long and blessed life and a wonderful family. Now she is at her well-deserved rest with God in heaven.

Dear Family of Mrs. Walker,
There are no words for how much this lovely lady will be missed by Bob and Me. Her warm smile of welcome, the pat on ones shoulder as she walked to her regular seat, and the clasp of her hand as we returned from communion were small gestures of her gracious warm heart that made no distinctions.

We will hold in our fondest memories the Sunday Mass when, surrounded by her family, Fr. Mike recognized her 90 years of life. She was joyful.

My last conversation with Mrs. Walker was the last time I saw her at Mass. She said she had fallen and her family worried about her. She said she was, "used to taking care of others not the other way round."

Her passing has left an empty place, but we honor her memory, and
we will think of her in her new glory moving joyfully among the saints smiling and greeting her loved ones.

May God give all of Mrs. Walkers dear ones comfort and healing,
Bob and Peg Halley

Wilhelmina, I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of your mother being a "room mother" in grade school at Holy Rosary. May God have mercy on her soul and the Walker family.

Juanita was a longtime fixture at Saint Joseph Cathedral. Her dedication to Christ and His Catholic Church was inspirational, her personality and warmth demonstrated a life in Christ. She will be missed.
