Joseph Richard Price

Joseph Richard Price of Columbus, OH left us for a better place on Friday, March 23rd. Born in Columbus on February 14th 1947, Joe was the son of the late Hugh Price and Helen Graber Price. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with masters degrees in social work and public administration. He will be deeply missed by his wife Sheila Graham Price, his sister Mary Kathryn (Angelo) Piras, his children Brian (Katarzyna) Price, Bethany (Brock) Wanless, Brian (Susan) Graham, Keith (Jamie) Graham, and James Graham, as well as many cousins. Joe will also be missed by his many grandchildren, Peyton and Cameron Graham, Ashton and Jaden Graham, Benjamin Price, Andrew and Price Wanless. Joe will also be dearly missed his lifelong friends of “The BBG”. He was very proud of having initiated the OLP soccer program. Among his other many hobbies, you could often find Joe playing his guitars, singing for more than twenty years in the OLP choir, or chatting worldwide on his amateur radio set. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd., between the hours of 4:00pm - 7:00pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at Our Lady of Peace Church, 20 E. Dominion Blvd. at 10:00am. Burial will follow Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in Joe’s memory to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, or the OLP Parish Needs Endowment.
