Jeanine R. (Burge) Smith

Jeanine Rosalie (Burge) Smith passed away on March 27, 2018 after a courageous fight with cancer. She is fondly remembered by her loving husband Robert; her daughters Sandi (Paul) Miller and Heather (Eric) Baldwin; her grandchildren, Tory, Dylan, Kaleb, Seth, Faith and Micah; and her sisters June Garris, Judy Everman, and Janice Joyner of Florida. Jeanine’s love for her grandchildren will forever live on in their lives. Her love for music and singing with Judy and Janice as the “Burge Sisters” and her love for playing organ at church and singing in the choir, will forever remain in the hearts that knew her. She was a champion roller skater and extremely proud of her left handedness. She retired from The Ohio State University, where she enjoyed being a lab and x-ray technician. Jeanine will live in our hearts and her memory will always live on. On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, visitation with the family will be from 11:30am-12:30pm with her service following at 12:30pm at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 425 South Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio, 43230.
