Jeanette Carleen Simpson Hood, age 82, died April 17, 2018 at OSU Ross Heart Hospital. Member of St. Brendan Parish. Active participant at Dublin Food Pantry. Preceded in death by husband, James William Hood; son, Paul Robert Hood; parents, Paul G. and Mary Simpson; brothers, Paul and Clayton Butch Simpson; sisters Mary Guliuzza and Nancy Lee Wagner. Survived by her children, James M. (Ann) Hood of Ada, OH, Carleen M. (Shawn Nye) Mortimer of Galloway, Mary E. (Doug) Barr of Dublin, Jacqueline A. (Mark) Garver of Columbus; grandchildren, Jason R. (Heather) Hood, Shaun M. (Molly) Hood, Chelsey A. Hood, Mandea L. (Chris Jabczynski) Hood, Nathan W. Hood, Tanicia M. Hood-Romo, James Kelly (Erin) Hood, Lauren E. Barr and James Nicholas Barr; great-grandchildren, Swayzee A. (Hillary) Hood, Auston J.P. Hood, Ryleigh Hood and Owen Irvin; sister, Patricia A. Caserta; numerous other, relatives and friends. Friends may call 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Brendan Church 4475 Dublin Rd. where her Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute in her memory to Star House or Holy Family Soup Kitchen/Food Pantry.
