Janet C.(Stai) Poast, age 65, Tuesday June 21, 2016.  Graduate of St. Catharine Grade School, St. Joseph Academy and attended the Columbus College of Art and Design.  Retired Illustrator and Designer with the British American Bank Note Company and formerly employed with the State of Ohio and the Ohio Lottery Commission. Jan was an artist and specialized in abstract impressionism.  Her art work was displayed at the Sharon Weiss Art Gallery in the Short North for many years.  Preceded in death by her parents William and Rita Stai. Survived by husband of 37 years Dan Poast; daughter Danielle (Mark)  Heilbrunn and sons Jason Daniel (Sally) Green and Justin (Teri Ann) Eagleson; 5 grandchildren; sister Mary Jean (Park) Goss; half sister Barbara Breth; nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Service will be Saturday 10:30 a.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST. where friends may call Friday 4-7 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service.  Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.
