James Lee Saffell, age 80, Tuesday February 2, 2016. Born April 23, 1935 in New Lexington, OH son of the late Bert and Augusta (Williams) Saffell. Also preceded in death by his brothers, Bert, Jr. and Ralph Saffell. Retired after over 40 years of service in the US Army National Guard. Also retired from the Civil Service Commission after 32 years of service. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret (Wycoff) Saffell; children, Richard James of Titusville, FL, Lori Elizabeth (Thomas) Ellifritt and Greg Lee Saffell of Oakland Park, FL; grandsons, Eric Richard Saffell of Mililani, HI, Joshua Thomas and Alex Richard Ellifritt; sister, Martha Sweeney of Somerset, OH and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
