I spent many happy hours sharing with Harold the pure joy of ensemble singing in Barbershop Style. He was a refined, gentle and warm person, a fine family man, and a great friend.

Harold was one of my favorite barbershop friends.....He always had a smile! A good word for the day was typical of his personality. When he worked in the men's dept at Lazarus...I never felt so well dressed! I can't set foot in Macy's without hoping to see his happy face. I knew that he loved his barbershop quartet and always could be counted on to support the Singing Buckeyes Chorus. I will miss you Harold!
