Elaine Morse Ratcliffe, age 88, died peacefully Monday March 27, 2017 at home with her daughter at her side. Born in Caseville, Michigan December 3, 1928 daughter of the late David and Ethel (Hopping) Morse. Member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Worthington Chapter #287 Order of the Eastern Star, the Worthington Women’s Club, Clintonville Women’s Club, Worthington Music Club and Mother Singers. Preceded in death by her husband, John Snowden Ratcliffe and brother, Charles E. Morse. Survived by her daughter Jill (Rob) Simmons and son, Mark Snowden Ratcliffe; grandchild, Danielle Erin Valentine (Joshua M. Reinhard, fiancé); three nephews and their wives, David (Wendy) Morse, Donald (Linda) Morse and Charles (Caren) Morse; and many great nieces and nephews; her beloved pets, Buddy and Molly.
