Edward F. Zettler was born September 12, 1939 and died at his home on October 14, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis C. and Frances Zettler; sister, Mary F. Zettler; his partner, Joseph P. Rose; aunt, Margery Bradley; uncles, Joseph and Edward Bradley; nephew, Christopher Zettler.  He is survived by his brother, Robert (Geri) Zettler and sister, Lois (Ray Smithberger) Zettler; nephew Michael (Jane) Zettler and niece Karen Zettler.  Ed graduated from Aquinas College High School and The Ohio State University. He taught English at Anderson High School in Cincinnati and Bishop Hartley High School and St. Andrew Elementary School.  He was principal at St. Agatha before becoming the Diocesan Personnel Director for the Columbus Catholic Schools. Ed requested that a private service and burial be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Donations may be made in Ed’s memory to Bishop Hartley High School, 1285 Zettler Road, 43227.
