Christopher J. Young, age 40, passed away October 30, 2017 in Colorado Springs, CO.  He was born on October 19, 1977, in Warren, Ohio to Van and the late Nancy Young.  He grew up in Worthington, Ohio, and graduated from Thomas Worthington High School, in 1996.  He attended various colleges and moved to Denver, Colorado, in 2007.   He had a passion for the arts, dabbling in all aspects including writing, poetry, music and acting.  Chris was a gentle and peaceful person who enjoyed helping others. He appeared in various theater productions and independent films.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Young.  He is survived by his father, Van Young; sister, Katie (Steve) Nevelos of Lewis Center, OH and Tommy (Emilee) Young of Dublin, OH; nephews, Jacob, Cohen, Collin and niece Piper. The family will be having a private memorial service.  He will be interred at Flint Cemetery, in Worthington.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, https://give.salvationarmyusa.org.
