Arthur “Dude” Ryan, age 92, Friday January 20, 2017. Graduate Aquinas College High School. Attended Ohio State University. Veteran WWII, US Marine Corp.  5th Amphibious Corp 4th Division. Member of St. Timothy Church for over 50 years. Retired Chief Appraiser State of Ohio Department of Transportation. Preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and Robert Ryan; brother-in-law, Jack Hickey. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Simpson Ryan; sister, Donna Marie Hickey; children, Deborah (Donald) Burns of Duluth, GA, Ransom (Sharon) Ryan, Cynthia Rainier, Erin (Ralph) Berger, Mary “Happy” (Jim) Samler, Bridget (Harold) Ryan Evans; grandchildren, Sean (Lexi) Burns, Erin (Bryan) Barfield, Kellie, Kaitlyn, Keegan Ryan, Ryan (Alison) Rainier, Colleen (Seth), Danny, Connor and Shannon Samler, Megan Ryan; step-grandchildren Brian (Becky) and Michele Berger; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL 4661 Kenny Rd. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Timothy Church 1088 Thomas Lane.
