Anna R. “Gram” McKeag, age 94, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on August 15, 2017. Retired from DCSC. Longtime member of St. Matthew Apostle Catholic Church. Anna was a loving wife and mother, as well as a fun-loving and good-natured grandmother. The family matriarch, she touched many lives. She had a kind heart and bright smile, a generous soul who loved to talk. Her life experiences, combined with her strong faith, sustained her throughout her long life. Preceded in death by husband, Charles “Bub” McKeag. Survived by her sister, Alice McCoy (Columbus, OH) and her children: Tom (Anne) McKeag (Stow, MA), Marsha (Bill) Hast (Raleigh, NC), Rory McKeag (Gahanna, OH), Mary Ellen McKeag (Columbus, OH), Colleen Howland (Gahanna, OH), four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22 from 4-7 p.m. at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East, 403 Broad Street. Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 807 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, OH. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 6150 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213. A very heartfelt thank you to Mt. Carmel Hospice for the care given to her these last few months.
